Boys Town: Keeping families together

Boys Town conducted follow-up research with over 500 families one year after they had completed treatment in one of our In-Home Family Services programs. These families are in crisis and, in most cases, a child is in danger of being removed from the home. Treatment focuses on helping the whole family so children can stay in the home and parents can become better caregivers.

Results showed that 96% of the youth interviewed said Boys Town’s help had a positive impact on their lives. The research also indicated that 91% of the youth in the families Boys Town helped were able to stay in their home when services ended and were still living with their families one year later.
